Nollywood, not Hollywood!!
Have you heard of “Nollywood”? No I didn’t misspell it. Not Hollywood! Nollywood refers to the Nigerian film industry. It is the second largest film industry in the world. Surprisingly, Hollywood is not the first. Bollywood in India is the first!
Isn’t it interesting? Most of us thought that Hollywood is the biggest film industry. I have watched Nollywood movies and I think their movies are very inspiration and motivation for other filmmakers to start making films in and about the continent. I’d say no argument about the quality of the early Nollywood films.
